Olivia Wilde Signs on for Tron Sequel

Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett have become the first stars to sign on for the upcoming Tron sequel, a follow-up to the 1982 Disney cult classic.

The original movie, based on a programmer thrust into a computer and forced to fight in games he helped create, is lauded for its sci-fi gladiator-style battles and groundbreaking special effects.

The new film will be considered as a follow-up chapter.

Plot details are mostly unknown at this time, but Wilde will portray a worker in the virtual world that tries to help fight Master Control Program, the villainous intelligence protocol that was the nemesis in the original film.
