Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Crewman Comments on Michael Bay, Production

Butler, Digital Domain's visual effects supervisor on the film, spoke to Variety this week about director Michael Bay:
"He's brilliant, but he's a challenge....he's incredibly fast-paced. He's a whirlwind to keep up with, both on the set and in post... [Bay] took the production value up many, many notches. Just the backgrounds alone are huge. It's a combination of Apocalypse Now and Ben-Hur, in regards to fantastic backgrounds and the unbelievable sets we worked at around the world."
Reportedly, there are over 60 robot characters in the movie.
It comes out on June 24.

God, I just writhe with jaseouly so bad over this video. I dearly wish I could have had a shot at seeing these cars. They should just do a traveling bot show, and have them stop at every major city so people could stare. I couldn't help but wince when people were getting their greasy, smudgy fingers all over those pristine vehicles. Had Sideswipe been real, he would have been Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww, get your hands off of me!
