The 1984 cult classic Red Dawn helped to launch the career of its stars, which included Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, and Jennifer Grey.
Now, MGM is moving forward with a remake. Scheduled to start production in September, the film will feature Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki, among other rising actors and actresses.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we can now confirm the casting of four more actors, those that will fill the roles originally created by C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Brad Savage, and Darren Dalton. They are:
- Josh Hutcherson as Robert Morris;
- Isabel Lucas as Erica Mason;
- Edwin Hodge as Danny;
- Connor Cruise (yes, Tom's son) as Daryl Bates.
