Four New Clips of George Clooney as The American!
Focus Features has released four new clips from The American, starring George Clooney, which opens in theaters on September 1st.
Clooney plays an assassin hiding out in Italy, who is tasked with one last assignment before he gives up the profession. While laying low, he reaches out to a priest (Paolo Bonacelli) and develops a relationship with a local woman (Violante Placido), But in stepping out of the shadows, he puts his life, and the life of the people he's connected with, in grave danger.

This looks really good! I had heard that it might not be so great since it was being released at an 'odd' time of year. But from the clips I've seen, it looks really interesting. I'd say it is definitely for adults, not kids. It has a real story with character development and adult themes. Can't wait to see it!
