The Hobbit Comes Under Union Fire, Peter Jackson Sounds Off

If the countless production delays due to MGM's financial crisis weren't enough, The Hobbit now has another big hurdle to jump over: union wrath. The Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) released a Member Alert on Friday, urging actors not to work on the Peter Jackson production, accusing it of being a "non-union" production in order to screw actors out of their residuals.
