MPAA Ratings: Sucker Punch, Limitless, Scream 4, Hop Get Ratings
by Alyssa Caverley at .Four films received rating this week - and none too surprising.
Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper, received a rating of PG-13 for "thematic material involving a drug, violence including disturbing images, sexuality and language." The film is set to hit theaters on March 18.
Animated/live-action hybrid film, Hop, about the Easter Bunny got a PG rating for some "mild rude humor." It hits theaters on April 1.
Scream 4 producers apparently toned down the gore and violence in Scream 4 to get a PG-13 rating, but it wasn't enough -- the flick still got an R-rating. The film received the rating for "strong bloody violence, language and some teen drinking," which is the same rating as the other three Scream movies. The movie is set to hit theaters on April 15.
Sucker Punch got a PG-13 rating, which is good considering its target audience, for "thematic material involving sexuality, violence and combat sequences, and for language." The film is set to hit theaters on March 25.
