Check out this awesome first look of Tom Cruise in the upcoming Adam Shankman movie adaptation of Rock of Ages. Cruise's official website posted the picture of the actor  as Stacee Jaxx.

We previously posted this picture of Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin decked out in costume for the film, now we have the man Stacee Jaxx on stage doing what he does best.

The Warner Bros. adapatation of the musical is set to hit theaters on June 1, 2012 and also stars Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Alec Baldwin, Julianne Hough, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bryan Cranston, and Malin Akerman.

The story centers on two people who meet at the Sunset Strip club Rock of Ages and try to stay together amidst the L.A '80 rock scene.  The film, based on the Broadway musical, will feature songs from Journey, Poison, and The Twisted Sisters.
