Scream Award Winners: Harry Potter Finally Wins!
by Joel D Amos at .The 2011 Scream Awards were held Saturday night and in one evening, they made months of Eclipse winnings finally yield to honoring the final chapter in the Harry Potter series. Eclipse won top film at the Teen Choice Awards and the MTV Movie Awards. The Scream Awards finally gave the Boy Who Lived story its due, honoring Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with the Ultimate Scream Award, the Best Scream-Play, Best Fantasy Actor, Best Villain, Holy Sh!t Scene of the Year and Best FX.
Also honored with Scream Awards were True Blood, X-Men: First Class, Super 8 and Game of Thrones. And Natalie Portman and her Black Swan clan even took home a few statues.
One particular honor that made Movie Fanatic happy was finally someone recognized how marvelous Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is by giving it Best Fight Scene. The Scream Awards will air October 18 on Spike.
