Scientists want to find alines in the next 50 years, lol.1)Before spending money and time on that, scientist should research on ways to cure cancer, aids and all of those nasty diseases.2)I'm quite sure, that you can't look through a telescope and try to find them.The only way to find alines will be by sending messages out in universe and hoping that they are going to answer them.If there are alines out there, I'm sure they don't want to be found by race that annihilates itself.3)dismissed
