Magic Mike Stills: Channing Tatum's Origins
by Joel D Amos at .The photos are continuing to roll out of Entertainment Weekly’s 2012 preview. Magic Mike, based on the true story of Channing Tatum’s stripper past, is up next. The two stills feature Tatum and co-star Alex Pettyfer in their “Chippendales” bow ties.
Magic Mike is from helmer Steven Soderbergh who is directing out of the box of late. Arriving January 20 is his first action film Haywire (check out Haywire's first five minutes). After that film -- that also stars Tatum -- he has the stripper comedy that also stars Matthew McConaughey and Matt Bomer.
One last pic for you, this one is of the man who inspired the entire Magic Mike story, Mr. Tatum himself.

i dont know what you are talking about, this movie is great! Jamie bell payeld well and so did Channing Tatum. And stop fussing about how its not like the book, because it's not supposed to be like the book! One of my favourite movies actually.
