John Carter Exclusive: Director Andrew Stanton's Passion Project

After successfully showing us his magic in the animated gems Wall-E and Finding Nemo, director Andrew Stanton was ready to tackle his first live action film. Considering that John Carter has been a passion project for him, truly since he was a boy, it made the jump away from animation all that much easier. What he felt in nerves was offset by pure unadulterated excitement. The helmer is visiting with Movie Fanatic in the Arizona desert for an exclusive video interview and takes us inside why he believes now is the time for the Edgar Rice Burroughs story to make its screen debut after almost a century and how he feels now, with his successful journey completed.
