We’ve seen a premiere The Host trailer, and now Movie Fanatic has four images from the latest Stephenie Meyer book to make it to the big screen. The Twilight author has created a whole new world with her story. The audience never knows which end is up. With four new photos from Open Road Films, we’re getting a little excited to witness the latest from director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, In Time). Check out what the director told us exclusively about filming Meyer’s vision.

The story of The Host follows young love with the backdrop of global war. With love, can come peace... supposedly. That is the theme that is thread throughout. But at its heart, the film is an alien invasion movie unlike any you’ve ever seen before.

Earth is under attack by an unseen enemy. As more humans become hosts for alien occupiers, their bodies may look the same, but they are forever different. Most of the planet has been overcome, yet a few have resisted possession and even less have found true love in the midst of utter chaos.

Look for the sci-fi thriller to land in theaters March 29, 2013.
