Vince Vaughn does what he absolutely does best in the new clip from The Watch: spits out quick, improvised (or, seemingly) colloquialisms in that cocky yet chummy way. Sure, it may have worked best when he was a slim 25-year-old in Swingers (check out our Swingers quotes page), but the man has definitely still got it.

The Watch Clip

The Watch stars Vaughn, Ben Stiller (Madagascar 3), Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade as four men who start a neighborhood watch group as a way to get out of the house. They bite off more than they can chew, however, when they accidentally uncover an alien plot to take over the world.

SNL Digital Shorts director Akiva Schaffer helms the film, with the script by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.  Rogen and Goldberg. The writing duo have penned such films as Superbad, Pineapple Express, and The Green Hornet.

The Watch will be released on July 27. And while you set your watch for the premiere, go ahead and watch The Watch red band trailer. Right??? Right??? No? Okay.
