Red Lights Exclusive: Cillian Murphy & Rodrigo Cortes on De Niro Dynamic

The Irish actor and his film’s director, Rodrigo Cortes, visit with Movie Fanatic for an exclusive video interview. The duo extol the virtues of working with the legend that is the film’s co-star Robert De Niro and what it is about this supernatural story that should resonate for all.
As we state in our Red Lights review, Murphy is a star to be reckoned with as his career skyrockets. He steals scenes left and right from the legend De Niro, and the Irish actor admits, it was a career highlight.

This was the worst movie I saw at Sundance. I asked a senior Sundance prarmomger why they let it in the festival and the response was We saw a really rough cut and kinda hoped it would improve. I really wanted to walk out of it, but unlike most of the buyers at Eckles, didn't have an escape route planned.
