Jennifer Lawrence Eyes The Ends of the Earth

The Ends of the Earth has just been greenlit by The Weinstein Company. The film tells the true story of oil tycoon E.W. Marland, who marries his adopted daughter Lydie.

Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to star in the film as the young Lydie. Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio wrote the script for the film, which has yet to sign a director.

Lawrence, best known for her role as Katniss in The Hunger Games, will appear in The Silver Linings Playbook, premiering at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
