End of Watch: Anna Kendrick & Natalie Martinez Dish The "Human Side" of Police Work

by at . Comments

Anna Kendrick and Natalie Martinez both give Movie Fanatic the sense that their roles in End of Watch were the most important to get right as any in their career.

“It’s a responsibility,” Kendrick said. The two portray the love interests of Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, who patiently wait every day for them to come home safely from their jobs working the roughest neighborhoods in Los Angeles as members of the LAPD. “It’s important to show the human side of it. We had to bring as much heart and soul to it as we could.”
