Joseph Gordon Levitt stars as a man affected by time travel in Looper by the most thrilling of ways. Bruce Willis is his character’s future self and when the two come face-to-face, one of the most innovative thrill rides is off and running. Levitt shares how one collaborates with Willis to find congruences in character. “More productive than anything was being able to hang out with him and have dinner,” Gordon Levitt said of Willis.
The actor, most recently seen in The Dark Knight Rises, also gives us his two cents on the time travel movie that gets him… surprise! It’s Back to the Future 2.
“The obvious one is Back to the Future. I’m a big fan of Back to the Future 2. Sometimes that can be a controversial choice,” he said. “I love that one.”
Gordon Levitt also extols the virtues of his Looper director, Rian Johnson, whom he previously worked with on Brick and how the visionary crafted one of 2012's best movies.
