RoboCop Teaser Banner Plus Set Photos: First Look at the New Suit!

Check out a new teaser banner for the upcoming RoboCop reboot, courtesy of Cine1. Check it out:

Joel Kinnaman (Safe House) stars as Alex Murphy , a police officer who is murdered and revived as a cyborg. Some new set photos courtesy of Coming Soon show off the new Robocop suit, including the now-obligatory fake abs (...did people used to see a superhero and think, "Well sure, but is the guy underneath rockin' a major washboard?"). Take a look:

Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises), Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers), Jay Baruchel, and Abbie Cornish also star.

Jose Padilha directs this reboot of the original 1987 sci-fi action film. RoboCop is set to hit theaters August 9, 2013.
