Winter's Tale Adds Matt Bomer: He'll Join Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe & Will Smith

Matt Bomer has joined the cast of Winter's Tale, an adaptation of the novel by Mark Helprin. Lucy Griffiths and Eva Marie Saint have also signed on.

The trio join Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe (Les Miserables), and Will Smith (Men in Black 3) in the production.

Bomer is best known for his recent role in the film Magic Mike. He has also appeared in Flightplan, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, and In Time.

Winter's Tale tells concurrent stories in Manhattan, both in the 19th century and present day, centering around a love affair between a burglar and a dying girl. Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman will write and direct.
