A new trailer has dropped for Gangster Squad. Check it out:

Sean Penn stars as Mickey Cohen, an East Coast gangster who moves to 1940s Los Angeles to take over the town. In response, LAPD Sergeant John O'Mara, played by Josh Brolin, assembles a squad of cops who work outside the law to stop him.

Ryan Gosling (Drive), Emma Stone (Movie 43), Nick Nolte, Michael Pena, and Giovanni Ribisi (Ted) also star. Ruben Fleischer directs the film, which will hit theaters January 11, 2013.
