Lincoln Gets a New Clip: Should We Get to Work?

Three lobbyists are briefed in this new clip from Lincoln. Take a look:

The clip stars James Spader, John Hawkes (American Gangster), and Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) as Republican operatives tasked with lobbying for the passing of the 13th Amendment.

Daniel Day-Lewis stars in the biopic as the 16th president, with Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper) as their son Robert. Tommy Lee Jones, David Strathairn, and David Oyelowo also star.

Lincoln is directed by Steven Spielberg. It hits theaters in limited release today, and opens wide November 16.
