A Haunted House is the Wayans' brothers latest lampoon and they have given Movie Fanatic an exclusive trailer to premiere! This time out, they are spoofing the Paranormal Activity movies, The Devil Inside and any other "found footage" horror flick that has come down the pike in the last several years.
Like the Scary Movie franchise before, the Wayans have assembled a hilarious cast and started with a clever premise that should add up to something hysterical when the film lands January 11... as first teased in the A Haunted House red band trailer.
Our exclusive teaser does an impeccable job of getting us in the mood for more funny haunts, all to the soundtrack of Public Enemy's Welcome to the Terrordome! A Haunted House follows a young couple -- Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) and Keisha (Essence Atkins) -- who have recently settled into what they believe is their dream house.
As is played out in most of the found footage movies that the Wayans are parodying with their latest farce, the couple learn they are not alone and this demon is more than a little pissed by their arrival.
Mirroring the Paranormal Activity movies, the house is not haunted, it's Keisha! Thus setting in motion a series of hilarious moments where Malcolm has hired everyone from "ghostbusters" to a priest (played by Cedric the Entertainer), all in an effort to rid his lady of what is possessing her.
