Charlize Theron is in talks to join the cat of Seth MacFarlane's upcoming live-action comedy, A Million Ways to Die in the West.
After the success of his first foray into live action (with some CGI mixed in), last year's Ted, MacFarlane is set to keep the momentum going. The new film will follow an Old West farmer, played by MacFarlane, whose girlfriend dumps him after he chickens out of a gun fight.
Theron would play the wife of a notorious outlaw, who teaches the farmer how to shoot and ends up winning his heart. MacFarlane wrote the screenplay with fellow Ted and Family Guy writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesly Wild.
MacFarlane is gearing up to host the 85th Annual Academy Awards on February 24.
