The best time to release a new horror film is clearly October, as people are gearing up for Halloween and just dying to get the innocence scared right out of them.
With that in mind, Carrie has been pushed back from a March 15 release to October 18. No Good Dead, a thriller starring Idris Elba (Thor: The Dark World), has been pushed to 2014 to make room for the horror remake.
Check out a new poster for Carrie, which still has the old release date:
Chloe Moretz (Movie 43) stars in the role that originally belonged to Sissy Spacek. Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Portia Doubleday, and Alex Russell also star. Kimberly Peirce directs.
