Yesterday we dropped two new Mama clips, and now we have a full featurette that gives us our first in-depth look at the story and characters.

Mama Featurette

The film tells the story of two girls who are found in the woods after surviving alone their for five years. Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau play the girls' aunt and uncle, who take them in, only to discover they are being haunted by a presence they believe is their mother.

Daniel Kash, Megan Carpentier, Jane Moffat, Isabelle Nelisse, and Julia Chantrey also star. Andres Muschietti directs the film, which he cowrote with Barbara Muschietti and Neil Cross.

Guillermo Del Toro, director of the upcoming film Pacific Rim, executive produced the film. It will hit theaters January 18.
