Just hours after the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, we now have some more exciting casting news!

Josh Brolin will co-star with Gordon-Levitt, as Dwight, a role that belonged to Clive Owen in the original film. Christopher Meloni (Man of Steel) has reportedly also joined the cast.

Brolin can be seen this Friday alongside Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling in Gangster Squad. He starred last year in Men In Black 3 as a young version of Tommy Lee Jones' character Agent K.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. It is slated for an October 4 release.
