The film follows an anarchist group bent on revenge of corporations. When a contract killer is hired to infiltrate the group, she ends up enamored by its leader.
Ellen Page (Inception), Brit Marling, Alexander Skarsgard (Zoolander), and Patricia Clarkson star.
The East, directed by Zai Batmanglij, premieres at Sundance this month. It is set to hit theaters some time in 2013.
