A new trailer for The Lone Ranger will premiere during the Superbowl pregame show (yes, that's right, pregame show, which we all watch, right?) on Sunday. Check out a teaser for the ad, followed by a new poster:

The Lone Ranger Superbowl Teaser

Armie Hammer stars as John Reid, a former Texas Ranger who is presumed dead, but re-emerges as a masked crime fighter. Johnny Depp (whose Jack Sparrow quotes are endlessly entertaining) plays his sidekick Tonto.

William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, Helena Bonham Carter, Ruth Wilson, and James Badge Dale (Iron Man 3) also star.
