We've got some new casting news for Anchorman 2, not to be confused with the sequel to the Marvel movie about the superhero with the power to slow down ships, Anchor-Man 2.

James Marsden has signed on to join the cast of the comedy sequel. He will reportedly play a rival anchor, and Ron Burgundy's arch nemesis.

Marsden joins fellow newcomer Kristen Wiig (who rocked it in 2011 will some hilarious Bridesmaids quotes), who is rumored to be playing a love interest to Steve Carrell's Brick Tamland. Original cast members Will Ferrell, David Koechner, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), and Carrell, will all return.
