Tom Cruise stars as Jack Harper (not to be confused with his previous character, Jack Reacher, or the unrelated upcoming Chris Pine movie, Jack Ryan), a drone repairman on a futuristic Earth left abandoned after an Alien attack. When he meets Julia, played by Olga Kurylenko, he begins to uncover the truth about the war.

Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Mama), Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, and Zoe Bell (Django Unchained) also star.

Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy) directs the film, which premieres April 12.
