Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) stars as the President of the United States, who is kidnapped in a terrorist overtaking of the White House. Faced with little recourse, the national security team must rely on a disgraced former presidential guard, played by Gerard Butler, who becomes trapped in the building.

Morgan Freeman, Dylan McDermott (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Angela Bassett, Rick Yune, Melissa Leo, Ashley Judd, Cole Hauser, and Radha Mitchell also star.
