Redford also stars, as a former Weather Underground member who is wanted for robbery and has been hiding from authorities since the 1970s. Shia LaBeouf plays a reporter who seeks to uncover the truth behind the story.

Susan Sarandon, Julie Christie, Brit Marling, Anna Kendrick, Terrence Howard, Richard Jenkins, Nick Nolte, Sam Elliot, Stanley Tucci (Catching Fire), Stephen Root (Office Space), and Chris Cooper round out the all-star cast.

The Company You Keep is based on novel by Neil Gordon. It will hit theaters September 6.
