James McAvoy is just a little excited to work with one of his heroes on X-Men: Days of Future Past, Patrick Stewart. "I’ve been a massive fan of Star Trek all my life. So getting to share the screen with Sir Pat Stewart is going to be brilliant,” McAvoy told Movie Fanatic exclusively in our video interview below.
Little is known about the sequel to X-Men: First Class, other than the fact that the stars of the first film series will be appearing in the sequel to the film that took us back to the beginning. Already confirmed is not only Stewart playing the "future" Professor Charles Xavier opposite McAvoy's young Xavier, but also Ian McKellen reprising his role as Magneto, opposite Michael Fassbender's 1960s-based version of the classic X-Men character.
McAvoy talked to Movie Fanatic for his upcoming film Trance, live from London. And he was just a little excited about the huge X-Men: Days of Future Past day he had just experienced. “I read the script for the first time yesterday. I’m interested to see how it goes. It’s very good -- very exciting, really dynamic," McAvoy said.
The actor also revealed he knows his Xavier wardrobe for the X-Men: First Class sequel. "I had my first costume fitting yesterday as well! Very excited about how Chuck is going to look this time around!"
