Vin Diesel came to Comic-Con and brought a little gift with him: the new explosive red band trailer for Riddick. As his co-star Katee Sackhoff took the stage with him, she explained why she and Diesel thought so highly of the crowd -- enough to bring presents.
"Science fiction fans are the best fans in the world. They'll watch things you should give them their money back for and love every minute of it. And then create drinking games for it," she said and laughed.
Then Diesel added some credibility to the glorious geek fest that is Comic-Con and even admitted that a certain role playing game had inspired his characterization of the anti-hero -- Dungeons and Dragons.
"I think the fantasy role-playing world I was so immersed in ended up playing out in the way I approached Riddick's mythology," he said.
Riddick comes back to action September 6.
