Hot on the heels of this week’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug movie trailer, Warner Bros. has taken their sequel to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey to the airwaves by releasing not one, but two new TV spots previewing their film that arrives December 13.
Peter Jackson is on the cusp of being two-thirds through releasing his second Middle Earth trilogy and anticipation is high for the film that features the return of Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and the continuing adventures of Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as they join forces to try to free the home of the dwarves from the evil dragon Smaug.
Also debuting in this second chapter of The Hobbit trilogy is Evangeline Lily and her character of Tauriel, who gets a little screen time in both the above trailers. The former Lost star looks effortless in joining the world that was crafted by iconic author J.R.R. Tolkien.
