Music has long been referred to as the universal language that bonds us together. That has never been truer than when it comes to Disney’s Frozen and the track that we think is a lock to win Best Song at the Oscars, Let it Go. Disney has released a video that shows the song in the 25 languages that the movie was translated to and it, like the movie itself, is truly magical.
Frozen has become a global hit (and its soundtrack has topped the charts, even knocking off Beyonce!), and is now the second highest grossing animated film in Disney history… right behind The Lion King.
When we spoke to Idina Menzel, who recorded the song as the character Elsa in the movie, she reported that she knew immediately that this track was something truly special. The fact that it has been so resonant the world over speaks volumes as to the power of the track that belongs right alongside some of the famed studio’s best songs of all time.
And for fans of the film, be sure to mark your calendars as the Frozen DVD release date has been announced!
