The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies Clip: Bilbo Volunteers!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has released a clip and after seeing the film, it is quite the pivotal moment in the story.

Gandalf has arrived on the front lines of the battle with news about eminent danger for allies fighting on another front that need to be warned about incoming Orcs that no one knows about.

Lee Pace’s Thranduil refuses to warn the armies as he has “shed enough Elven blood” in this fight.

It is then that Bilbo volunteers because he has a plan. He knows “they won’t see me coming.”

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies lands in theaters December 17 and closes out Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy.

You can see the first two films when you watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey online and watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug online.
