This film is based on a best-selling novel. It takes place in India and is about a boy named Pi, who is the son of a zoo keeper. He and his family want to move to Canada, and travel via boat. After a shipwreck, Pi is stranded on a lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan, and a huge tiger, all fighting to for their lives.
Adult Pi Patel: Faith is a house with many rooms. Writer: But no room for doubt? Adult Pi Patel: Oh plenty, on every floor. Doubt is useful, it keeps faith a living thing. After all, you cannot know the strength of your faith until it is tested.
