Jackie Brown is named after its title character, a flight attendant for a small Mexican airline. She is smuggling money in and out of Mexico for a gun smuggler, Ordell Robbie. Once caught by the ATF, Jackie refuses to cut a deal. She is arrested and meets bail bondsman, Max Cherry, after Robbie hires him to bail her out. The two come up with a plan to double cross Ordell Robbie. Jackie Brown was based off the Elmore Leonard novel Rum Punch and was directed by Quentin Tarantino.
