Joss Whedon is a screenwriter, executive producer, film and television director, comic book writer, composer, actor, and the founder of Bellwether Pictures. Basically, he is a man of all talents.
He was the creator and showrunner of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which starred Sarah Michelle Geller, Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse.
Recently, Whedon has co-written and produced The Cabin in the Woods, in addition to writing and directing the third highest-grossing film of all time, Marvel's The Avengers.
Needless to say, he has been nominated and has won an large amount of awards for his works.
