His first role on the big screen was in Groundhog Day. Since then he has been in numerous films, including Pearl Habor, 8 Mile, Vanilla Sky, Kangaroo Jack, Grand Theft Parsons, Let's Go to Prison, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Blackbird, Revolutionary Road, The Runaways, 13, Jonah Hex, Return, Take Shelter, and Premium Rush.
He also had a role on the television show Boardwalk Empire.
