"Don't be shy". Catwoman all over it. I was one of the... zero people that actually cheered when Hathaway was casted, and now I stand corrected saying she will kick ass in the movie.
why does bane have a dog muzzle? in the comics doesnt he just have a mask? plus nolan to keep it 'real' is doing away w/ the super-drug venom angle & selling it as anesthetic ...if the pain is that bad + the guy needs a catheter into his jaw... he's going to be trippin daisies wasted... i'm a med student, trust me.
with nolan going for 'real' ...i wondered why he kept batman with such a classic 'super-hero' look... he seemed to have the right angle w/ joker's look (& scarecrow's) & could have made batman a bit more 'punisher' mixed w/ something dark + unique, maybe closer a ninja 'crow' in a kevlar suit... I understand the military-grade suit... but just something creepier for the face... plus i thought he should have kept the sword like he used in training...
Okay the black Catwoman thing needs to stop now. I'M black and I know better than to associate Catwoman with the black actresses and comics books that have portrayed her as such over the years. Why? Well the sole comic book that portrayed her as black was Batman: Year One...in which she was a prostitute and a dominatrix. Even in that she was still Selina Kyle which calls into question Frank Miller's drawing style more than anything about race. The 1960s show (ugh) had three different actresses playing Catwoman with Eartha Kitt being the last one and, as previously stated, the Halle Berry Catwoman SUCKED.
Hathaway is hitting the nail on the head in every teaser so let's just be happy and really, at this point anyone bitching about anything in the movie is completely ignoring everything good we've seen so far. Please take a deep breath, unzip your pants and give yourself a little satisfaction so the rest of us can enjoy the build-up to July 20th in peace.
Catwoman has been black in the comics and old tv shows, there has been more than 1 catwoman over the years, just like there has been more than 1 robin. too bad Rosalyn Sanchez,Aisha Tyler, Gabriell Union or Claudia Black cant don the Catsuit and show their stuff.
