If there's one thing Danny Trejo could probably pull off without a hitch, it'd be the dangerous leader of a bike gang. And that's exactly what the filmmakers behind the low-budget independent production of Tarantula are betting on.
Machete afforded Trejo his first true starring role, and Tarantula writer/producer John Kersey is hoping to keep that trend up. And that's not all, he's also trying to lock down Bitch Slap star Erin Cummings as the female lead, so says Heat Vision.
Tarantula centers on "a woman (Cummings) who breaks away from a tight-knit biker gang to start a new life but finds that escape is not so easy. Trejo plays the self-styled leader of the gang looking for the woman as well as revenge for his brother's death."
If it's even half as fun as Machete, I say bring on the Tarantula!
