The American Film Market is in full swing, and promotional images for movies up for offer have flooded the net. One of the more controversial images is from Jodie Foster's directorial debut The Beaver, which stars Mel Gibson.

Between the jokes being made about the film's name in correlation to Ms. Foster's genitalia and Gibson's highly-publicized bigotry and domestic abuse, it's hard to believe that this movie will be a hit. Gibson's behavior has already cost him a small cameo in The Hangover 2, so we're not sure if the public is willing to swallow his comedic antics yet, which could be a bad omen for Foster's first directing gig.

Check out the picture below, and sit tight for The Beaver to be released, which IMDb lists as an unspecified date in 2010, although we all know that's not happening. Click the thumbnail to view larger:
