The trailer for Soul Surfer, debuted by EW, is now online.  The surfer film stars AnnaSophia Robb as surfer Bethany Hamilton.  Based on the true story, Soul Surfer is about perseverance and determination after the unthinkable. 

Bethany Hamilton has a promising future, surfing her way to the top, until a brutal shark attack threatens her future.  The film focuses on Bethany rebuilding her dreams and getting back to the top.

The film co-stars Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid as Bethany's parents, and Carrie Underwood makes her film debut as a church group leader.

Soul Surfer hits theaters on April 8, 2011.
