SAG Awards: A Night Honoring Acting Talent

by at . Comments

The SAG Awards are here! It's a night to honor the actors who bring films to life with their great performances - performances that make us laugh, cry, and cringe at times.

Colin Firth is expected to win in the best acting category for his magnificent performance in The King's Speech.  Bale is likely going to win best supporting actor for his role in The Fighter.

Of course, in the best actress category, Natalie Portman is favored to win for her chilling performance in Black Swan

It would be surprising if any of these actors don't actually take home the trophy for their iconic performances.

It's interesting to note that all of last year's winners - Jeff Bridges for "Crazy Heart," Sandra Bullock for "The Blind Side," Mo'nique for "Precious" and Christoph Waltz for "Inglourious Basterds" — went on to win at the Oscars.

Could be a good indicator for the Oscars this year too.

The SAG Award air tonight on TNT and TBS at 8 E.T.
