Super Bowl Movies: What Films Will Get The Coveted Spots?

by at . Comments

The most-watched television event of the year is gearing up to air on February 6, and movie studios are gearing up to release new footage of their anticipated films during the big game.

Last year 106 million viewers tuned in for the game, so the hefty price tag is worth it.  A 30-second ad during the game is going to cost the studios $3 million.

Captain Jack Sparrow and Barbossa

Some studios are going with slightly less expensive spots, before or after the game.  It looks like Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox are steering clear of the expensive publicity time.  But Paramount, on the other hand, is taking full advantage and full cost, airing spots for five of its upcoming films.

If you missed anything, we'll have all the spots available on Movie Fanatic after the Superbowl
