Colin Firth has been in the news a lot lately. He is receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also received countless nominations for his role in the film, The King's Speech.
The film follows King George VI as he tries to gain confidence and overcome his stammering to show England and the world he is a capable leader. He enlists the help of an eccentric speech therapist to overcome his challenges.

The King's Speech has been nominated for countless awards, such as the British Independent Film Awards for best picture; and the the Satellite Awards for best original screenplay.
