Daniel Radcliffe will be presented with an honor award from The Trevor Project, an organization that provides crisis support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered youth.
Radcliffe has been involved in the project since 2009 when he appeared in a PSA. He has since appeared in many PSAs and much more for the organization.
"The people that are doing the heroic things are the people answering phones 24 hours a day in the Trevor call centers," he says. "Out of everything that I've done so far in my career, I think this is absolutely one of the most important, if not the most important, thing that I am associated with."
The Harry Potter star will be honored at a ceremony in New York on June 11. He is currently in the city starring in the Broadway play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
