James Franco and Mila Kunis have both signed on to Oz, the Great and Powerful.
Walt Disney Pictures has confirmed that the two will star in the new Sam Raimi film, set as a prequel to the 1939 beloved movie The Wizard of Oz.
Robert Downey Jr. was originally supposed to play the part of the great and powerful Oz, but backed out a few months ago. Franco will take his place as the leader of Oz with Kunis playing a witch named Theodora.
The film is about a young magician who runs away from a traveling circus. He gets caught in a tornado and winds up in Oz, which is run by two wicked witches.
Kunis and Franco previously appeared together in the Shawn Levy film Date Night.
Oz, the Great and Powerful is set to be released sometime in 2013.
